    James Stein, MD

    Dr. Stein is board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine and serves as Director of Preventive Cardiology.

    Heather Johnson, MD

    Dr. Johnson's research and clinical interests are in Preventive Cardiology, managing cardiovascular risk factors and promoting lifestyle changes among individuals and within communities.

    Vonda Shaw, MS

    Vonda is a clinical exercise physiologist and currently serves as the UW Health Preventive Cardiology Manager. She has worked in the Preventive Cardiology Program for over 18 years, helping patients in their recovery from heart and vascular disease.

    Gail Underbakke, RD, MS

    Gail is the Nutrition Coordinator for the UW Health Preventive Cardiology Program. She has a speciality in lipid managment and has provided nutrition education to patients, the public, and medical professionals at the University of Wisconsin for over 25 years.
