2017 Year of the Healthy Nurse

American Nurses Association has named 2017 The Year of the Healthy Nurse. While whole-person wellness is a lifelong endeavor, we think that 2017 is a great time to start (there’s no time like the present!) We love the way ANA defines the healthy nurse as “someone who actively focuses on creating and maintaining a balance and synergy of physical, intellectual, emotional, social, spiritual, personal and professional wellbeing.”

During 2017, we want to connect with nurses throughout the organization to support your personal and professional well-being. Each month, we will highlight a topic area (see topic chart below). Each topic post will be concise, pertinent to nurses, and packed with information for further learning.
