Harvest of the Month: Hearty Greens

Throughout Harvest of the Month, we have encouraged you to take notice, taste and enjoy the bountiful harvests we experience in Wisconsin. Even though the weather is beginning to cool, the growing season is not over!

Arugula, Bok Choy, Chard, Kale, Collards, Salad Mix, and Spinach are all excellent hearty fall and winter greens. The next several months, you will notice these greens at numerous retail venues across UW Health. Hearty greens are packed with nutrients and an excellent choice if you want to pump up the flavor of your plate.
