LifeMatters is the employee assistance and work/life program available to UW Health staff. LifeMatters offers free, confidential financial services, legal consultation and counseling services for personal problems such as stress, depression, substance abuse or workplace conflicts. Counseling services are available at no cost to you, your family or your household members.
LifeMatters provides 24/7, confidential, telephonic or in-person counseling for:
- Self-improvement/personal development
- Family, parenting or job concerns
- Legal matters and financial questions
- Family and dependent care needs
- Alcohol or drug abuse questions or problems
- Emotional or stress-related issues
- Building and improving relationships
- Coping with change

Calling LifeMatters put you in contact with a Master’s trained clinician, willing to assist you and provide you with a whole health assessment. UW Health’s Company Code is UWH1.
