Week 1 – Semi-successful! M-F was great. Stayed under my calorie goals, drank 64 oz of water each day, increased my activity level. Great way to get started. Weekend was a challenge not being in a routine and less structure. Guess I’ll have to work on that. Any ideas on weekend ideas would be welcomed!

    • Wellness says:

The weekends definitely are tough, we would agree. Try creating a schedule or routine for your weekends. Schedule your time to exercise on your calendar, track your water intake by keeping a stack of 8 pennies and remove one once you had an 8oz glass of water, and create a log of your food intake. These tips will allow you to hold yourself accountable and help you to maintain your goal over the weekends.

Is there any way that UW Health can coordinate exercsie programs closer to our clinic in Beaver Dam? Otherwise we would have to drive 45 minutes to the nearest one. There is a high demand for this with our coworkers. This would be an awesome way to stay on track with maintaining and not gaining during the holidays without be discouraged to drive so far!
